Loved the amazing location, just a short walk to many restaurants and historic sites. My superior room with a balcony was spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The homemade breakfast was a highlight, especially the spinach with feta pie that lingered in my memory. While the staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond—like providing a bottle of wine as a welcome gift—noise levels from nearby nightlife disrupted my sleep a few times. The room could have used a little more soundproofing, but overall, the ambiance and service made for a wonderful stay.

i was almost going to give a good review, but then i remembered the nasty cold breakfast every morning and the shocking taxi blunder that cost me extra. i woudl have appreciated an upgrade or complimentary gesture for all the trouble. sadly, gaia athens was not worth the fuss, just regular treatment for what i expected was a luxury stay.

deluxe double room balcony, great neighborhood, convenient access to historic sites
Noise levels from nearby nightlife are unbearable at times!!! Seriously, consider better soundproofing!!! Uncomfortable seating options make lounging impossible!!! A small investment in decent chairs would go a long way in improving guest comfort!!!

Perfect urban getaway!
Such a cool spot! Loved the chill vibe and the staff was super friendly, really made us feel at home. The room had all the essentials plus a nice balcony view. The breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade pastries. Just wish the bathroom could've been a bit bigger, but still completely worth it.
